ABOUT

Jordan Blanchard is a poet hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana.

A 2018 alumnus of the Smithsonian Institution's Internship program at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, she is a voracious researcher and author. She attended the University of Westminster where she did her BA in English Literature and Creative Writing. In that time she also wrote her first chapbook, river muck, baby. She then completed two consecutive Master’s degrees in 2022 and 2024 at Birkbeck College and University of the Arts, London. She has now returned to the University of Westminster as a Doctoral Researcher.

She can be found wherever there is water, her work can be found in Autograph Gallery, BRUISER, Cheerio Publishing, Kelp Journal, the Kenyon College Young Writer’s Anthology, her Substack, and more.
